it only happens when i raise the rear but i hit the switch and it sounds like a fitting is pulling loose or something and makes this extreme whistle and the stops and the rear will come up. could the valve have something wrong with it? any ideas?

Maybe the valve is sticking. Do you use a water seperater?

you can also add a peice of line to your dump valve and it will fix it jason at area 51 told me that when i was having the same problem.

I don't think it's his dump valve because it's only when he raises it. Valve probably got wet which is a no no. You can oil the valve with air tool oil once you get the water out.

i am using 2 water seperators. one for each tank and comp. as far as i know they are on the right way. i'll double check tonight. i know they have some water in them so they are working. how do i check to see if i have water in my valve? btw....i have 1/2" GC valves.

I would take the line off of the valve and oil the valve with air tool oil. While you are doing that you can look inside the valve and see if there are signs of water. You could also check your wires to make sure there is no short or anything but it's probably not an electrical problem.

Also make sure the valve is not on backwards. It could still work backwards but not properly.

or you can try what i did because it has nothing to do with the dump vavle it has to do with gravity or something ca,, area 51 see what he tells ya i can bet it will be what i said to do.

yeah, if you don't have a piece of line on the end of the dump valve it will stick because it relies on back pressure to open and close. It could be that the dump is not completely closed when you are trying to lift. Never open you valves unless they are under pressure, it could damage them permanately.

so i need to put some air line on the dump valves? the other 3 are working perfect. it's just that one. why would i need to put it on one but not the others?
