Hey everyone, I have a question. I have a s10 frame that I am putting under a 1950 ford sedan, and I am going to put a sbc v8 in it. What mounting hardware do I need to install to convert to the v8. For your knowlege I have stock mounts on the frame but am not sure what the origional motor was in the s10. I appreciate all your help.
Thanks,
Jason

if the truck came with the 4.3 the motor mounts are the same. if not the mounts will have to be changed. places like summit and jegs sell the mounts and what not for the conversion. a good website with some good info is http://jagsthatrun.com/ its been a while since i researched it but that what i could think off the top of my head. good luck with your project and post some pics

Well I looked up my origional engine and found it. It was a 2.2 4cyl. By what I have found is that I have to change them out with the 2.8 motor mounts then install v8 mounts.
