Try Makoto Auto Parts over in Chesapeake. They sell almost every Japanese engine you can think of. Their address is 604-C Green Tree Rd. Chesapeake, VA and their phone number is (757) 382-9634

cause it would be some sick ****!!! you can get some crazy HP out of an SR20DET. and the SR20DET is a RWD engine and would fit perfectly in a nissan HB. i wanna make my truck a little faster than it is now cause the z24i engine lacks a lot of power.

best place is JGY (http://www.jgycustoms.com/). i have a friend who is a Nissan junkie and has had a slue of Nissans. currently has a NX200 with a VVL motor (Nissan's answer to Vtec). you can proably get a great deal there and from what i've heard from him, good service.

There used to be a sick one in Virginia Beach. I wanna say it ran low 11s in the 1/4, if not the 10s. My old roommate Josh did a 4-link coilover setup on it and said it was freaky fast on the test drive.

don't quote me on this, but my friend got the VVL (SR20VE) motor from JGY for under $500. check the SR20 Boards (http://www.sr20forum.com/index.php?s=), someone has to be selling something.

People have done this before, but I don't see a point to it if you plan on making a lot of power out of it. You're going to have a hard time getting traction with that light ass rear end. Even with some wide ass tires I don't see it working very well.... But if you're just trying to replace the KA24 and leave the motor alone then go for it.

That would be because most people don't think about suspension setups, just cramming a high HP motor under the hood. Wide ass tires are the last thing to help your traction.
