Instead of kicking up some pretty dead/overwith threads, I thought I'd just start a new one.

I've been around here for quite a while, probably pretty near the beginning of VAC as a whole. Maybe. Who knows. But back in the day, this was a VERY happenin site. Lots of active members, lots of new **** goin on every day, etc. It was, at times, actually pretty damn hard to keep up with.

Now it seems to be the complete opposite. I'm not seeing too many names posting, etc. I am aware of several ownership changes, which is all fine and dandy. But...

What is everyone doing to make sure this site doesn't just flop and fall off the face of the earth? Are there people who are actively advertising, and proud to be VAC reps? Etc, etc, etc.

I wouldn't mind promoting the site in my area (Rke), but only if it's worth promoting... if you feel what I'm saying on that one. I'm not trying to be negative, so don't get me wrong. I have always liked this site, and have met some really cool people because of it.

Just trying to feel out what the hell is going on here. :)

Thanks, crackers! chuck norris

yea it has slowed down quite a bit since the beginning. i try to mention to everyone i see that's into cars, trucks, bikes, whatever. i would say definitely spread there out there as it will hopefully bring new people who will be active.

yeah, it has changed.

but it is still the site it was meant to be.

so keep tellin people. I do...

you also have to remember the military factor as well.

I know that a few of our members come and go depending on what there duties in the service require of them...

i try to tell anyone i run into, I always tell people who ask about the Noma, Tracker etc... Seems like after Adam sold it, it has been a struggle to keep it moving. Cutty buying it and some server crashes didn't help. I'm looking into some Google advertising but that can be costly with out using adsense ads to counter the cost. The members here do an awesome job of helping out and that alone has keep us going.. especially the VAC Stickers!!! Whistling I open to ideas though!!!!:what:

^^ Would be cool to be able to search for "custom vehicles va" or "mini trucks va" and have VACustoms.com come up as one of the top responses, though.

Yea this would be nice to do, just have to see how much it will cost. Google ranks you higher the more you are willing to pay per click!!
