So I finally sat down and played with photoshop this weekend. I just could never get passed MS Paint, it was so easy and I never understood that layer stuff. So I found a "how to make your car anime" how-to that I saw a couple years ago when I frequented DragVA.com, and got to playin.

So any opinions for a first timer? Anybody know of any other good tutorials or how-tos so I can play around more?

You forgot the door handle, and the fuel door on the Taco. Also there seems to be a light pole and another vehicle missing on the right side.

OOOOOOOOOOOO you said photoshop not photohunt. Damn Im so stupid. You know photohunt where you gotta find the things different between the two pics.

I can't do nothing like that so yessir it looks swell.

Yeah, they definitely look good, and I know I couldn't do anywhere near that. I had another tutorial saved somewhere I will try and dig up... Any chance you post a link to the tutorial you used? You know, for those of us that are as Photoshop-challenged as you were before doing this? lol

Thanks alot guys! I didn't really think I was going to get as many positive comments and was expecting more criticism than anything. The S-10 one probably took me about an hour and a half or so, the Astro about a half hour (I had to figure some things out with the S-10), and the last one was spaced out over a couple days so maybe closer to 3 hours or so for that one.

Here's the link I used:

Here's a link to a short little video I made showing some of the layers and how they blended together. Just click on the picture.
