multiple quote buttons. i just noticed that we don't have them. where are they?





actually, i have to confess, i never knew how to do multiple quotes until i just did a search for it, never really needed to so i never learnt it :) then i saw that other forums have these buttons, but we don't.

Not sure I follow...Got any examples?

Edit: Sorry, closed the window out and think I realized what ya mean. That's what I get for spending the afternoon with beer and football, then starting at HTML and PHP for three hours straight.... Are you referring to the option to quote multiple posts above in a single post? Like:

Then having your comment without having to copy and paste each, or adding your own quote tags? If that's it, it looks like there are some vBulletin add-on's to do this, and there just isn't one installed here currently. Should be simple enough, if I can pry Billy away from the NES stuff we have been slaving over for a few minutes...hehe.

yeah that's what i am talking about. along the bottom right there will be a little icon with like a plus sign that says quote or something, you click it and it turns to a negative. you do this for each post your want to reply and when you're doing you just hit reply at the bottom. when i did a search, this was the first one of the first results i got. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic70929.html

i know our buttons won't be the same, but you get the idea. i'm on a couple other forums that have these so i went and played. it's real easy.

Gotcha. I searched a little last night, and found one right on vBulletin's site that would give you check boxes for each post to use as well.But I don't know that I would have the access to add in something like that, or if only Billy would. I will let him know as soon as I get in touch with him later today.
