Personally I Love MTX Subs, I too used to run their old models. I had 3 10" 5000 series Subs in my old Blazer and they were awesome. I recently picked up one of their new 5500 series 10" subs (the same model that are in that box) and I was blown away at the sound quality and volume that this single 10 put out. I would say without a doubt that this new sub is louder than the trio of 10s that I used to have. I'm sure by now that you have already made up you mind on what subs to pick up for your tracker. But I still wanted to praise these MTXs'.

I've always been happy with them. As far as the ones you can normally find at Circuit City and such, they have always been one of my top choices for "bass per dollar" on a low budget. Putting together something for a daily or for the girlfriend or whatever - they are almost always what I get, unless I run across a great deal on something else. Right now in my daily (the Neon) I have one of their lower end 12's in a vented box that seems to hit pretty good with the power it gets, and will likely be much better once I get the interference problems cleared up...

hey Billy, lets pull the back seats out and put a couple of 15" back there! that would be hot! i think you would really be able to hear your lunchbox coming down the street then.
