Not bad, I liked how the first or second run, where they actually kept on going, you could actually see the Supras Turbos reeling the Mustang back in, the other runs were all showing the supercharger of the Mustang and ended before the Supra's Turbos really got spooling. Once again, the cars were probably about even in horsepower, with the Mustang probably producing a bit more than the Supra.

That is what I was saying in my reply on the best American Muscle car. Fords just sound so damn impressive.

Once again, the cars were probably about even in horsepower, with the Mustang probably producing a bit more than the Supra.

Seeing as both cars were running through the gears, its safe to say that the turbo had plenty og time to spool up. The Supra has an aero advantage and probably taller rears over the Stang and that is what you are seeing towards the end of their run. If the supra drive knew what he was doing he would have prespooled the turbo by riding the brake. Also you will note that the mustange allways gets the jump. I found the last run the most impresive though. That Cobra was quick as hell to 60, but is true for all American cars. Afterall we (us) are a light to light civilization. Take a high performance car from Europe and they can't compare to US 0 - 60 times, but on the Autobahn, a M3 would kill that Stang.
