did you do anything to the site in the last 24-48 hours? my Opera browser is acting really screwy. it's only a scrolling issue which i tracked down to the background image. i know this because in Opera i can change the page/background of the page to any color i want. something that is helpful when text is hard to read. it makes the page scroll really slow and jagged like, but if i change it to say, white, it's fine. it wasn't like this the other day which is why i'm asking.

I am using Opera (v8.5) on a Linux box right now and it is working fine. Must be the background settings that you changed.

really? that's strange. i didn't change anything. other than going back to 8.50 from technical preview 9, but as soon as i fired 8.50 up i still had problem. then i got the notice about 8.51 and it's there also.

hmmmm, going to do some investigating. i did put a new vid card in, but i don't see how that would affect anything.


this is what i'm talking about. it's a little javascript tool. when i change it it scrolls fine, but not wih the original background
