ok well with the new 1/2" valves i got the filling and dumping are a lot faster. the only problem is the right rear bag is slow. it's been that way since i've had them on the car. i thought maybe with the new valves it would help it out some. any ideas on what it could be? what could i do in order to fix it? i'm going to be running new lines from the valves to the bags soon so i'll have the wheels off for a little bit. any idea's on how to fix it or what to check?

spray bottle of soapy water...see if its leaking...check the fittings at the valve, tank and bag/cylinder..whatever your using...then use more tape, or get the teflon glue

could be bad wire connection.. maybe bad ground, the valve not opening all the way...
could be a leak
could be the setup is binding when it lifts somewhere/somehow
the line could be kinked somewhere
could be alot of things
hope one of these help

yeah, sounds like the line is kinked up...if it was leaking fitting then it would just sit back down...

If your line lengths arent the same that will also make a difference

yeah i'm thinking it's the line that getting kinked or the setup is binding somewhere. it's not the valves b/c they are new and it was doing the same before.
adam: so the lines need to be the same length? why's that?

also shouldn't the rear raise up a lot faster then the front? i mean there's hardly any weight back there compared to the front with the engine weight. the front comes up quick and if i do the left side up then she comes up fast. it's just the right rear thats slowing everything down. maybe if i get that fixed the rear might hop? do you think so?

Not exactly what I said, they dont need to be
For example, if your left line is 6 ft and your right line is 1 foot, it will for sure be faster on the right side, since there is less area to be pressurized, think of it as pouring water into something, a 1 gallon just will fill 5x fater then a 5 gallon pail. On your suspension it wont make a huge difference is the difference in legth is negligable, but if one line is 5 times longer that will make a big difference.

the lines aren't that much of a difference but when i cut the new ones i'll make sure they are about even. could there be something wrong with the bag?

if there was something wrong with the bag it would most likely be flexing awkwardly. maybe twisted or something along those lines. i would think if the valves were alright and all the fittings were airtight, then it would have to be the mechanics of the setup.
just my :2cents:

you have a kinked line, you can bet the farm on that.....:) and yes, the back should be faster to lift, but slower to dump....Lata Jack
BTW-will get you those measurements after work for the tank....

Yup sounds almost certainly like a kinked line.
