Looked at it again...not sure if im feeling the seat belt mounts in the corner or not.....i think it would look alot better with the belts bolted where u cant see them...IMO

We didnt just arbitrarily put the seat belts there, the cab corners were made around being seatbelt mounts, we put a bit of thought into it and determined, how we did it or mounts on a rollcage (which we arent putting in) would be the only place to mount a shoulder belt where it would still be functional. The only way to mount seat belts where you cant see them would be to use lap belts which arent even an option, I dont get in cars with no seat belts and lap belts may as well be no seatbelts.

It will all turn out nice in the end, I promise :wink:

We have an official chauffeur in mind to help us with driving it to shows so that we can show 3 trucks at once. We're shooting to have the truck done before the bigger shows this year. But remember, it will still serve as our shop/parts runner truck at the same time.

Darn skippy adam. people who go to vac will say they do nice work and keep safety in mind. that and if he goes through va beach he will definatly get pulled over if they can see hes not wearing a seatbelt. i still like it, ideas for paint?

Black is the worst color you can paint something that has a lot of body work done, it highlights EVERYTHING


The truck is going to be painted whatever Dreamworks decides they want to paint it, since they are "sponsoring" our project (we just buy supplies)

i was thinking a total airbrush design. sort of like a collage(sp) of what VAC is all about. what do you think? im sure the paintshop would incorporate anything you propose to them. besides an artist always signs his work.

yea stick to a light colors to hide minor highspots and such

white and silver 2 tone would look sweet (maybe a blue flame seperating)

black metallic looks awesome when your nose is 2 inches away from the paint but it looks like ass and i mean 400 pounds of ugly wrinkled up nasty *****es ass it looks like a faded brown

but HOK just re-released black diamond which is a remake of the old one which had actual glass in it
