amp rack

Has anyone ever built an amp rack from metal. How or what did you use for the platform? and what for support, i dont wanna make one out of wood, but if metal is to hard then i might have to go that route. i just dont want the amp laying there and i dont want to attach it to the box. Oh and it dosnt fit under the seat wither haha.

Iv never built one out of metal...but if you don't know what ur doing it could turn out to look like crap...What did you make the box out of? Wood? if so id go ahead and make it out of wood and cover it in the same carpet or fabric that u used...it should look nice...

yea, i also think it would look best if u tried to match the amp rack to the sub box as best as possible
