Ok Im covering a box in some heavy fabric...its not tweed. What size foam do i use for lettering, im tihnking half inch would be way to thick??? thanks fr the info

for vinyl or leather on a box i'd use a thin(maybe 1/8 or 1/4) piece of plywood and cut the letters out, any heavy duty material will eventually crush the foam and look crappy, maybe even get a piece of ABS plastic and cut it out for the letters

well, this is fabric tho, its not as thick as leather, so i dont think it will pull the foam down. Im just wondering if since its a dark color 1/4" won tshow up well

try 3/8" using the ABS. even if u dont think the material will crush it, you dont wanna take a chance one something pressing on it and crushing it
