I had my headunit doing the exact same thing, it turned out to be a wire grounding on some of the metal used to hold the headunit in place. I didnt have any need for that wire but power was giong to it so every time it hit the metal it blew a fuse. Try looking for any cut wires or anything like that, that would be grounding unintentionally. Hopefully thats all it is.

Did you mess with any of the radio's wiring before it started blowing fuses? Does the radio smell toasted? Like burned circuit boards. Is the radio properly grounded?

I'd say definitely check the wiring behind the deck, make sure everything is connected good, and any wires you aren't using are taped or capped off in some way, as stated above. Another to try is give the deck a couple days outside of the dash so the burnt fuse smell can go away and see if that isn't just covering up the same smell coming from inside the deck. Usually popping those fuses is gonna be from faulty wiring in the radio's harness or something inside the deck acting screwy...

You stated that you had fixed other electrical problems in your truck. Did you try running a hard wire to your fuse box for constant and switched power? If you had factory wiring probs you might have a gremlin in the factory harness. Try bypassing the factory stuff.
