shaved door handle kits

I'm looking to get a door handle shaving kit, i've been looking at a few sites but i was just wondering what size solenoid i needed, a 15lb, 35lb, or 45lb. i'm sure a few people on here have their doors shaved so i was wondering what size and brand they suggested, thanks

Don't have mine but from the research I did unless you almost never drive it 15s are way too little...use 35 or 45...and the only ones that seem reputable are SPAL and Autoloc

Something like door poppers I recommend overkill, I would buy 45lb solenoids.

If you dont have an alarm to control them, sure that will be fine.

well the thing is i have a compustar alarm w/remote start, but my remote is broken for it, so i don't even use the alarm anymore

yes that spal is a good kit if i could go back that is the size i would get. i believe the spal is a little better because of the rubber boot around the silinoid. I have the 35lbs kit with 16 channels from autoloc and if i dont use them for a week with the weather really cold they stick really bad. hope that helps you out
