Heres the situation:

I have a Momo steering wheel and a Momo hub. We are trying to wire it for a horn. The hub has one wire that comes out, and a plate that has a place for the ground to connect to. My questions is, how does the hub get power? the back side of the hub is metal. does this thing:

come apart and one part stays on the column or what??? if not how the hell does this bitch get power to the hot wire

that is some sorta SRS thing that behind the stock steering wheel. does that stay there or come apart and part of it stay there or what???

on steering wheels, i think they use something along the lines of a "clock spring" its not a wire, but a metal surface that stays in contact with a metal surface on the backside of the steering wheel, the power is transfered through this to operate your horn... at least on some vehicles this applies.. not sure abotu hondas, alot of yota's use this

yea the back of the hub that goes on the column is completely metal. we have a feeling that is where the power contact will be BUT we also have a feeling that the black srs thing in the pic i posted above comes apart to reveal another metal thing to match it to make the power. i say this b/c its 2 peices. one turns the other does, but the wires go through one part then it plugs into the harness on the 2nd part so theres gotta be something in there making contact.

normally...i just yank all of it out and slap it in..lol...Hondas dont need no stinking SRS..

well..i would leave the connection together and run a separate wire to the horn or anything else..=P
