Well I got a Dodge neon 1996, got a good price on it, and well here is all I have done to it I add a new muffler, yeah I know run me off here, but I am getting to the point of some real work, and well here is the before shot of the car...... (back end only)

I have never been a fan of Neons but good luck to you. Can you give us an Idea as to what kind of stuff you plan on doing to your new toy. Also from what it looks like, it looks as if it's in pretty good shape. for it being a fairly older car and being a Neon it seems to have a decent shine on the paint still.
I've seen many neons from that time that the paint just starts to peal right off.

i have worked on many neons in the bodyshop becuase of the adhesion problems from the factory

Well I am getting a bodykit, a green on black paint job, new tail lights and well lights all round, new brakes and rims and tires, well that is the body work and it is a reactive muffler..

Enigen well a lot to be done, I may be getting the SRT4 enigen, yeah that is the a lot of cash, and well you know how it gets when you get into the enigen...

Inside I am bluiding a computer to put in there and a 14 inch flat panel, and yeah it is going to be nice, well this is only few of my ideas, I am still looking into others...

and yeah it is a neon, but it is a nice car that I only payed 1000 for......

well that sounds like you have some good plans for it. I hope it turns out pretty good for you. I would really like to see a tastfully done neon. From the sounds of it you may have just that. The computer part sounds kind of cool as well.

you'll be paying a good price for a STR4 engine and tranny b/c the cars is fairly new and not too many have totaled them so used engines will be hard to find prob. you could always spend more money and get a brand spanking new one.

well that is my plan to buy one, a new one, I am talking the dodge dealer in my area and I am trying to get there help and see if they will knock off some of the price.....
