I'm posting this here because well I figure it's picture photoshoping type stuff and that you all would know this.

What programs can be used to find out the following:
Hue
Sat
Lum
Red
Green
Blue

can this be done with MS paint?
If so hwo do you do it?

I'm trying to take the color from a picture and match it to the color that the back ground is and this is the easiest way I know to do it, just have to find out exactly how to do it.

well i like that program there but i also found a way to do with microsoft paint.
If you use the color capture tool like for painting that eyedroper looking thing then you go up to the tool bar up top (colors) then submenu edit colors, click the define custom colors and bam there you will have it. pretty tight didn't think that it would do that.

I do like however how the colorcop will store the custom colors in there. that's a pretty sweet feature. also the averaging color thing i'm liking that one a lot.
the only thing i see that it doesn't tell you in the hue and that stuff, it will give you the RGB but not the rest.
