I was leaving work tonight on Atlantic Ave. and i had my switches all the way down. Im cruising, when all of a sudden cops pull me over. Of course they pulled the tape measurer out and my **** was 12inches from the ground which the state law is 14inches by what they said. SO yea i was just wondering if i could get my license suspended just from getting that ticket if i were to prepay it? Do they make me tkae apart the **** or what?!?! let me know.
COPS SUCK ASS! i wasnt playign with the switches or anything, just driving. That's Bull****.

dude, if you saw my wall you'd know they won't screw with your license... just pay the ticket and hope you dont run into the same cop again soon.. im upto 13 in a year and still have a license.. **** cops pull me over and don't even know that i've been pulled for the same things previously.. or so they act? but dont sweat it.. pay the 35$ish dollar fine and the 49$+ processing fee and forget about it

Thank god. Well thanks for the heads up people. The only problem is, there were like seriously 9 cops standing around my truck. I work at the beach. So I am gonna have to do my best to drive back threw the neighborhoods to work without them seeing my ass. Thanks again guys.

maybe if you ride with the front up for a while they might think you fixed it. I would stick to roads to avoid them also. A bed cover would be good too.

How about getting the ride height up on the bags to a normal cruse height of 15" and then you don't have to worry about it. Will your bags lift the truck up that high?

i always make sure there is a little space in between the tire and wheel well, so it "looks" like you arent as low as they think. i've never been pulled over for my ride hieghth...

sorry man, i would just pay it

why don't you just go ahead and raise it to 14 untill you get home....or does it stop at 12?

My first post on this site and it gets to be on the wonderful suspension laws in VA.

You do have some things to worry about. A friend of mine lifted his SuperDuty 12.5 inches which put his bumpers way above the legal 30/31" mark. At his 3rd height ticket (in two months) they confiscated the tags and registration from the vehicle. The could have easily impounded the truck. He had to have it towed to ProTrucks and have an officer meet him over there to get his plates back.

The officers gave him a lot of hassle because as soon as they run your plates and license they can see ALL tickets on that vehicle. A lot of them feel that its a blatant disreguard for the law when they see multiple tickets for the same offense.

I have one lifted truck and one lowered so I feel your pain, but all I can tell you is to be careful and really polite.

dam dude it didnt take you long at all to get pulled for that, haha. you should look into getting a beater with working at the beach, driving your truck down there is just asking to get tickets.
