Need help w/ photo

ok here is my quick paint chop up POS job.

As you most likely can't tell. I'm trying to make the logo for my new website for my business. I'm trying to get the D to be like a drag car and the "g" like a vehicle dragging frame. Can anyone help me make this look like something worth while?

BTW, you can sign up over at www.bannerhangout.com maybe someone there can help, but i cant guarantee that it would be free. Most of the peeps on that board do graphic design for a living.
