Hey Gang. I was wondering what bucket seats fit best in a standard cab 91 S10. I am thinking about maybe replacing my bench seat with a set of high back bucket seats with head rest. I don't want to pay big bucks for a set of seats. I was thinking about getting some seats from the salvage yard and reupholstering them with material to match the charcoal and gray interior of my truck. I was also thinking about having the seats emboried in the center of each back rest part, with the red out line of the Chevy Bowtie. I was also thing about making a custom fiberglass wrap around vette style console interior. All of this is just an idea right now. I just wanted to get some input from the group here and some info, because I know there are some many choices of seats out in a salvage yard for bucket seats. Thanks for any info and input gang.

Robert, the best fitting seats are out of a 1st Gen blazer for your truck. Or you could score you a set of 1st Gen bucket sliders and adapt them to just about any bucket seat with a little welding. I picked up a set of sliders for $15 and $5 shipping. Adam at VaCustoms can do the welding the next time you are in the area to hang out!

Mike, .... when you want to get rid of those seats hit me with a message and let me know what you want for them. My bucket is grey cloth but the cloth isn't in good shape but I would recover it for you if you give me a good deal on the buckets!

Hey thanks guy's. I am planning to go to the salvage yard this weekend. I shall check out a few things and see what I decide to do. I may hold off for a while, because there are a few other things I want to do to my truck. I have been checking around on the price on getting the windows tinted on my truck. I have also been checking around for hood scoops. I like the cowl induction scoop, but i am looking for just a bolt on scoop. I have came across a 427 Sting Ray Vette type scoop, but I have to check and see if it is a bolt on or if they can make it into a bolt on scoop for me. They told me that the scoop would be $45.00 and with shipping and handling it would come to $90.00. I don't think that is to bad at all. I would have to paint it to match my truck. If anyone would like the name, or addy to the website for the fiberglass hoods or scoops, just let me know and I will try and post it as soon as I can for everyone. Later dude's.
