Door panels?

anyone know whats a good backin to make new door panels out of. mine are rotted and warped, so i need to make new ones. and ideas?

Wood paneling like they make the walls in some houses? It's thin, light and ****** strong enough. I don't know if you can swing it but I think the **** is 99 cents a sheet. Just kidding I'm sure you can come up with that.

why not just hit the local junkyard and find the door panels there...save some time..maybe not soo much money..but time

If youre looking to make new ones Lukes idea is very inexpensive and works well.
