need help really quick

i just put a jvc deck in a 96 ford bronco

everything is wired up right and all the plugs are right

the deck works but you just cant hear anything

i took a small 4 inch speaker and hooked it up to the plugs and it plays

so is it a bad ground with the all the speakers?

just run new wire from the HU to the speakers...dont use the stock wires if its not working...is the 4" speaker one of the ones already in the truck...or just one u had out...maybe the speakers are shot...or the connectors are crap...


but if the 4" is the speaker in the truck, just run new wires...hope it helps some

I'm not sure but you might have factory amps in there that dont work anymore. It happened to a friend of mine before in her explorer. If so, just bypass the amps.

check for a factory amp, if you find one, buy an adapter from sounddomain.com to bypass it. Or you could just run new speaker wires. First just hook up the speaker directly to the speaker wires coming from the head unit to make sure theres no problem with your HU or with the ground or whatever.
