Anybody else wanna go with me? I went to the show last year at the NORVA, and it was by far the most fun I've had at any concert! If you like heavy music, blood and guts, and getting soaked, you'll love a GWAR show. I'd compare the show to a Death Metal waterpark.
For those who don't know what I'm talking about, GWAR is a heavy metal band where the members are dressed up in elaborate costumes, as "aliens from another planet sent here to destroy the human race and pillage the world." Anyway, the concert is like a real-life comic book on stage, with the members of the band killing various people and objects on stage and spraying blood and urine (colored water) into the crowd.
I've only been to one concert, and it will be this same tour, but before I went, I was told by others to wear a white t-shirt, so I did. If I can find my before and after pictures, I'll scan them and post them if anyone wants to see them, needless to say, my white t-shirt was pink and yellow for all but a small white spot on my lower back about the size of a quarter.
