I just wanted to know where i could find out the size of my exhuast tubing, so i know what im looking for. im not sure if its 2.25" or 2.5" if anybody can help me out thatd be great!

Dude...just go to any number of sites and look for parts for your car. I guarantee you can not only find exhaust but a number of other parts. If you need any site suggestions, let me know.

nice muffler, but why not go with bigger piping, say 2.75" or something? a freer flowing muffler is nice, but would be nicer with better piping.

2.5" is all you need for an all motor application, anything bigger can actually hurt your performance; unless you're turbo'd or s/c'ed.

yea u can i've seen it done and had a part doing it once

just run a 2.5 pipe from the cat to ur rear crossmember from there u can either go underneath or overtop it and use a a "y" to split into 2 pipes

personally i like single exhast better on cars
i only like duals on lifted trucks and classic muscle cars

yeah, i could do that, but between me and my friends, i have all of the machinery and know how to do it myself. id like to get a professional muffler, like magnaflow or a flowmaster 40 series, or soemthing like that. but to make it fit, i can do that hangers and **** like that.

if i get a muffler that doesnt have a tip, is there an easy way to take the tip off of my old muffler and put it on the new one?

Hey StratusFear. My opinion, which is like everyone else's. You should go with the two an three quater pipes, because they will be better free flowing and let you motor breath better with less back pressure and give you a little more horse power and better gas mileage. I have a 91 S10 with a Flow Master cat back system. The Flow Master muffler I have is called Flow Pro by Flow Master. I have two an three quater pipes with dual exhaust from the muffler back. It isn't real loud, but throaty. I have the 4.3 in my S10, and when it is idlling, it sounds like a V8 instead of a V6. I didn't want an exhaust system that would make my V6 sound like an airplane ready for take off from the local airport. Call some of your local exhaust shops and ask around and price an exhaust system for you ride. Many Exhaust shops offer different systems and prices. You will have to make the final decission on what type of exhaust system you want for your ride. My thing is, I like to make my ride look and sound better and different from all the other guys and gals out there on the road. Good luck with your decission and choice.
