my dad went to the local parts store to pick up some sleeves and fairles so i can fix a couple leaks and have some spares and he was talking to the guy who runs the store and explaining everything to him. he showed dad some reinforced rubber air hose thats rated at 300psi and is easy to work with. it takes a type of fitting that screws into the bag, valve, or tank and then has a barbed end on the other end. you use some vasaline and shove it up on the barbed end and then use some clamps like a radiator hose clamp to keep it tight. he said that a lot of companies and garages use it on their big machines and compressors. i know with normally air brake hose that you can't make but so small or angles or it will crimp. this stuff won't. dad bent it compelety in half and it popped back to normal. and plus it's reinforced so it's thicker then the stuff i'm using now. has anyone ever heard of people using this type of hose for aig bags? it seems like it would be a lot easier to work with then the hard plastic air brake hose or hard lines. please let me know! thanks!
