altnator(sp) help

ok i wasnt sure where to post this so since i live in hampton i figured id post here.....i got a stock 2.8 the truck has no power windows or nothing so the alt. only puts out like 55 amps....whit the comepressor runnin and the radio goin the alt has a hard time keepin up to the demand or power.....my question is done anyone know of a place that will rework a alt and make it more powerful.....thanks in advance

Does anyone know of any sites besides Mr. Alternator that sell high performance alternators? They don't make one for my year car. Thanks.
