I love the new layout, I think it's easier to get around on, and can be better customed to user preferences.

yeah i love the new layout. it is very user friendly. that means a lot to me, a person who's on forums all day long. mad props adam!!!

its not freeware so there is support available
avatars and pictures can be uploaded

I think I could go on all day with reasons why I think this board is better, but if you dont like it, you dont like it.

I didn't see your old bored, but this one is very easy to use. One of the easiest I've seen. I like the drop down links at the top and the New Posts button. I can just hit that instead of searching arond for whats new. Love it for me.

i like it for the most part. there are only 2 things that bug me: 1-this layout is wider so i have to scroll right to see read everything. i know you can change a setting on the desktop but when i do that everything is so tiny. 2-it would be nice if there was something at the bottom of each thread to be able to go back to a different page like there is at the top of the thread.

The reason the board is this wide is that 95% of internet users have a screen resolution of 1024x768 or greater, whats good for the many is not always good for the few. You can up your screen resolution and increase your text size, that may help you personally, to change text size click on View>text size at the top your screen and change it to something larger.


The links at the top of the page should be sufficient to navigate around to board, all you have to do is scan back up to the top using either your mouse, your arrow keys or to go quickly you can use the page up key on the upper right hand side of your keyboard, if I added them to the bottom (which I dont know how) I think it would just add clutter, there is already a lot of stuff at the bottom.

Well, I didn't know the old layout, but compared to other forums this is very organized and I REALLY like the fact that it doesn't get junked up. The colors and format are nice. :)
